I've found this blog http://threebeautifulthings.blogspot.com/ earlier this week and I couldn't stop thinking what a wonderful idea...to stop and smell the roses. Start shining light on those exact moments that are dripping happiness in our lives. This is going to be an "everyday happiness" diary. Probably I'll update this blog a couple of times a week but surely every day will be reflected here.
Today: My tomato baby plants are doing great; In a couple of months we'll eat homegrown tomatoes. That would make my day (again).
Also, I spoke with my dad today, he was so happy to hear my voice. And I was happy to hear him happy. Spoke with my mom also and with my sister, Mona. I miss them but isn't it incredible how cheap it is to make a phone call literally on the other side of the earth? OK OK , you're right, the earth doesn't have sides but you get the idea, calling ten-hours-difference-timezone away for a couple of dollars. Thank God for that.
"I've heard somewhere" thought: Don't wait to feel great. Feel great now!
By the way, I thought of myself as pretty creative but that's all I can write on my first page of my first diary. Shoot! I guess this is harder than I thought. I hope I'll get better at this. If not there's always "self publishing". Right? Yeah, that was a joke. Thanks, I'm done. For today.
